Contributions on this release come from a variety of sources: Alexis Beattie & Phil Lock (Savage Sound System) – who also play live as part of the Sacre Noir band, Gaz Clinton (Tabasco Fiasco), guitarist Gavin McDirmaid and bass player Bob Duncan. Stand out tracks from live shows that are now released for the first time on this album include Chimneys, Spin (Another Lie) & Visible Ink.

Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, Sacre Noir has previously self released three 5-track  EPs – Demo Recordings I (2005), Demo Recordings II (2006) & Demo Recordings III (2008).
