I am an actress and I started taking lessons from Carrie in 2009 with the aim of improving my performance skills through song. Since then she has put me through my Grade 8 Singing exam, organised for me to perform at her vocal reviews and has even helped me set up my own YouTube channel to showcase my singing.

Carrie is great for catering to each individual student’s aim. On many occasions she has suggested songs for me that she thought I would enjoy performing and that would suit my voice that I never would have discovered otherwise. Not to mention she’s a fantastic singer herself.

I can honestly say that the impact the lessons have had on Saskia is huge, she has learned how to control her breathing and Carrie has provided her with vocal exercises, which she can do at home. Carrie also helped Saskia by teaching her how to sing her first original song and advising us on how to put it on iTunes.
